Surviving Minnesota!

Jerry, good to see your update on the stem cell therapy. I was to the Dr. yesterday and he says Essentia does not do the procedure and thinks that either Univ. of Mn. Hosp. or Mayo Clinic are only ones doing it in Mn.
Told him I can live with the pain in my knee and am not interested in knee replacement. With other issues it would likely be an investment with short term relief if that ?

Does anybody know a butcher in south central Minnesota (close to Mankato) that will process my chickens? I normally do it myself if I have 10 or less to do, but this year I will probably have around 30 ish. Not set up to do that very efficiently by myself.

Good morning all. Jerry is the early one today. I suppose Ralphie was up late at some political rally or speech ?
It is forecast to be another nice day in the Northland and even nicer in the Mn. Banana Belt I imagine. However we have another 10 inches of snow in the forecast here for Sunday & Monday. Not time for chicks yet.

Morning. It is above zero but the windchill is putting it down there again. I am getting 2 dozen eggs sent to me, they were shipped yesterday. I am hoping for at least 50% hatch rate on them

I got the Hatcher going and am pretty happy with the temps it’s holding. Now I just have to get the humidity up and we’ll be in business:woot
