Surviving Minnesota!

Are you going to finance it for me?

I am sorry, I am simply a marriage counselor and advisor. I am not allowed to get involved in the actual financing or construction of any items the counseling service deems necessary.

I would truly like to help but my hands are bound by the hypocrite* oath...and a weak bank account...

I have a picture of my Prize PC cockerel than no doubt has Mr G. Bert of Wisconsin beside himself with worry.....

Also I want to show you the type of bird you can expect from a certain Used Cat Salesman....NOTE the stink eye, I know the glare of the reflection of the sun is bad, but you can still see the hatred in his eye...

I can’t wait to see that PC Cockerel in a few months when he’s all growed up lol.

That’s a dandy of a Buckeye. Beautiful dark red...

Already done, lol, at least with the birds I have appropriate breeding stock for. I won't be hatching from the Chanteclers I have now since my best pullet died last fall. Day 8 on the quail, & day 4--5 on the Ameraucanas.
You never know you may be able to get some good birds out of the hens you have now... if you have any PC hens?

I don't think so.

I really like the structure and feather on the top bird but I am not sure that breeding her instead of waiting for better birds is a good idea. It's possible with her lack of pencilling that she might throw some good males... but I am not looking to double mate. I want balance from a single line. I don't want to box future birds into a corner by being impatient now.

And the personality of his last owner..mean spiteful, dishonest and hates me.....:gig:gig:gig:gig:gig:gig:gig:gig:gig:gig

Not to mention the light feathers in his primary that just look weird... I am waiting for him to split into pieces like the cat did..

Mate her, see what you get. She might get you a cockerel you can use to start a single line with.

She looks good structurally, but those darn orangish hackle feathers stink. I have fought to get rid of them.
