Any breed pure for barring . Males have 2 copies barring females have 1 copy . Dosage effect of barring also makes males a little lighter in color than the females as adults .

It might be confused... we had one like that. Definite thought was a cockrel. Nope was a hen. Had it the other way once too. The confused ones always end up weird.

Good morning. It is a bit on the cool side but no snow this morning. The Mn. Twins may well see snow showers again during their game this afternoon. So much for the Mn. Banana Belt effect.
I am glad you posted the photos Jerry, as I had not been able to access the ones of the birds previously either.
