So... tonight Sherwood forest. My parents summer retirement place. I mentioned this meet up to my mom. She said " Ou! Chicken people, that minnesota group. You know your brother might not stay the weekend you should go" now to talk to the husband. Dad wants him to go fishing with him so they can get the boat out. Poor southern boy has no clue yet.

I made an error. I hatched 10 days ago. I forgot to mark the toad chick. It is same color as white Legbars. I cannot tell them apart.

Today I ate a big piece of humble pie.

Me: “look look....my very first Toad 2.0 egg I’m so happy.”
@holm25 : “which lady laid it?”
Me: I don’t know let’s find out.
Holmes: “well it could be this lady there is a 4 finger width pubic bone or maybe it is this pullet ... 3 finger width” or maybe this one. After 4 birds we deducted that we will be going on an egg hunt and they will be locked up later in the morning. Oops

When we got back to the farm last night it was pretty icky and dark. I think we got there around 8?

And when we left it was beautiful!
