Surviving Minnesota!

:sick I thought we were too far north for tomato hornworms. I didn't seen horns on it. I have seen those moths though. Can the chickens eat them (the worm) without getting sick?
Since the worms eat tomato leaves I would not feed the worms to chickens .

Happy Anniversary BC. How many years of marital bliss has your DH enjoyed ? All of them I am sure.
After a wet and cool couple of days it has dawned clear here and the temp is forecast to rebound to respectable levels.
I hope that Ralphie is successful in his search for a variety of cold hardy banana tree in Alaska. I know that his primary reason for the trip was to find plant stock to improve the performance of his trees in the Minnesota Banana Belt.

Morning . Rain overnight about 1 1/2 inches . Cooler today . Need to do rear brakes on Janet's car . Weird thing going on . Seems it is not moving enough on the pins . Outer side of disc is rusty and sounds awful . So new pins and pads plus lube on pins . Never had this happen before .

State fair was good... First three days set an all time record amount of people. 220,000 in one day!
I was there on the second day. (Saw some Holm chickens from Becker county, I believe.) I was surprised at the amount of people there, since it rained most of the morning.

Thank you Ed. It's been 119 years. I mean 19. I'm sure glad my garbage/recycling man has been able to deal with his Bog Queen all these years. ahem...

I saw a blurb that Ralphie has had a complication after the Alaskan trip. His dear Mom-in-Law suffered a stroke I think. The WW. We need some prayers sending out to them, him and Judy. Busy guy. And with the election coming and all.

Prayers Ralphie!!!
