I understand drastic changes. It's -30 something here today, and supposed to get into the 30's above zero on Saturday. (And now we are on our way to my mom's. She has no water.)

So husbands work truck wouldn’t start. Tow me to my dads heated shop. (1/2 mile down the road)

We arrive at the farm. “Well since you are here and dressed for the weather.”

Oh no!

DH got it fixed. Her well froze up. Heat lamp burned out, put in a new one, and she had water within an hour.

My wives car did not start this morning. I think I have it nearly ready to start now.

I was out for a couple hours. I even gathered a warm turkey egg...Of course, I gathered some cracked eggs too.

I actually enjoyed my time outside, I putzed in the shed a little which was chilly but out in the sun it is rather pleasant, I wish I had not left my fish house in my van or I would have went and got a few fish for supper. )or tried too)
