Too quiet lately. It's been raining and cold here most of the week, not much going on. Today looks good though, time to hack down the yard again.

Put several chickens in the freezer this week and have several more in the holding pen. It's been much quieter with less drama out in the yard the last few days.

Our first farmers market starts in two weeks, so I'll be baking a lot and finally getting rid of eggs. I just wish I could get one market to open in June, but there just isn't much fresh produce ready that early.

I am so far behind on it, because of our lack of spring this year...

Chasing away massive free-loader... er free-range bull who keeps staring at my little preening, wanton heifers across the barbed wire + electric fence. That thing is a flippin’ monster. We have to fence them out if we want them out says the forest disservice. Of course we do.
