Surviving Minnesota!

Group hug!

We had a decent day yesterday--windy but could have been worse. Today is worse. Serious wind happening out there. The Scotts Highland cattle are all four in their shed. They usually only use the shed as a scratching pole. For Scotts they're kind of wussy. I guess it's all this easy American living. :p

I broke four chicken eggs this morning. I think the poor henpecked rooster I gave them because he's cute and has nice legs isn't up to doing his job. 😢 I s'pose I'll give them the mean-ish (to me) Buckeye roo. All the poor boys but him have black tips on their headgear, and I'd like to encourage everyone to make rose comb babies for the benefit of future generations. I hope they don't also make over-sized man-parts like he's no doubt got, but then, all chickens are edible, right?

@CindyinSD thank you! It is my turning 50 photo. Yesterday was a big one. Needed to mark the occasion I guess. For 25 years I've been ducking out of photos and overall been pretty uncooperative with pictures and after looking at Mom and Dad's this last year, I decided I need to maybe give my kids and hubby a chance and a few to chuckle at.
