At race shipping the other day one of our members said his son went to the recent swap meet in Mahtowa. If you want to dispose of hens it would appear now is the time to do so. Hens were going for $30 to $50 each.

I’ve seen some pretty good prices on Craig’s List too. It’s nice people are getting something for all the work and investment!!! Yea poultry!!!

We found a tiny little wood duckling in the yard this morning, no others around I wanted to keep it for the summer but it was wanting to be held constantly so I took it to Wild and Free in Garrison. They had some other baby ducks so I’m happy it’ll be with others.

Yes it would've been a lapper! sweet little thing, but it's better off where it is now
doesn't take long to fall in love with the little cuties.
