FYI in chickens it is the contribution from the hen that decides the sex . Unlike humans .Ralphie, I think that your Cream Legbar rooster is shooting the wrong type of bullets? If this continues you will have a bumper crop of light weight fryers this year and not need any CX. The little guys should be good smoked?
Ralphie, I forgot to inquire if you knew what Greenfire Farms was charging for their Cream Legbar chicks? Just in case you don't I will tell you. $19 for male chicks and $29 for female chicks. Have a nice day!
Spring peepers ? I have been hearing them here also . Small frogs with a big voice .I hear frogs!!!

Just testing you Ralphie on the rooster shooting wrong bullets. I knew it was the hens fault, but I hate to blame the ladies.
No fryers for me thank you.
I have not heard the frogs yet on the frozen tundra. The lawn is frozen like rocks and our frog squirming pot hole is also a frozen as rocks. It sounds marvelous though in the spring and it's one of my favorite things about spring.
I thought he meant "frogs" as in the other breed of chicken I developed when I started toads..
