SHUT UP! (said like on friends say it to each other - so LOL) 70? In January? In the Northern Hemisphere. We usually vaca on a warm beach in the Caribbean. ANY time I had to travel for business - no matter how nice it was the day before I arrived - it turned cold the day I arrive. EVERYONE would say to me (knowing I am Minnesotan) 'We don't understand. It was just (temp) yesterday. Sorry about the weather.' Which was always warmer than where I had come from.

I am taking up a collection to move you somewhere far far away..Maybe South Africa, just to help our weather a tad!!!

I have an ideal spot to build a turkey coop (on the back side of that pole shed Ralphie) MY DH would birth a cow! LOL. I think I have the hang of building coops and runs down - he won't let me use any of his saws - so I use the old fashion kind if need be. I BET I could do it. I used to spend HOURs watching my Dad while I was growing up. And he would tell me 'get me the . . . . ' and I learned the tools. Sure miss him.

I will have turkeys up the ying yang this spring...... Holm and I are combining a few birds to make Mottled ones, Which are gorgeous.

Ivie...you certainly could build your own coop. If he won't let you use his saws....go buy your own!

Ya'll ought to go over to the turkey thread to see recently posted mottled turkey pictures. Boy are they cool looking. And Ralph/Holm are going to be hatching some! I want one soooo bad!!!!!

I would love to commit to you about having turkeys. I am actually just beginning the thought process on that. Along the chicken line - I am ready for chicks any time Ralphie. Just say the word when they hatch and I will be there. : )

Bella and her new Babies when I bring her out of the bathroom she sits right outside the door. If It wasn't so hot in there I would let her stay in there. When our other dog even gets close to them Bella attacks our other dog.. She loves her babies...

See . . . I am toying with many thoughts. A few more chickens . . . . beautiful turkeys (maybe three or four) . . . . Would love to have an 'outdoor' kitty but they get hit on the highway out front and it tears my heart out. 10 acres of land (but then I would have to leave my DH behind and I really do like him) Bees. Additional raised garden alongside my garage for the cooler produce . . . .

I have pulled on a calf before... U have to pull while she pushes or its a little hard. This is the calf I helped be born. It was tough cuz that cow hates humans but did lay there just fine. It eventually came out the rest of the way on its own. As long as I could get the head out I knew it would be fine.

Yep she is a sable.. She is 7, no teeth, bad joints, liver problems and a momma' girl .. Besides my son she is the thing I love most in this life...

Ohh Guess who got 2 eggs today? Yep ME.. That means another 1 of my girls are laying.. It is a pretty small egg half the size of a reg egg.. But that's ok now to figure out who it is...
