Found 1 BO didn't make it overnight. She seemed fine yesterday . But glad it wasn't one of my boys.. I felt bad putting her in the trash..

Glad to hear eggs are up. One of my coops is struggling lately. 7 eggs for 23 hens yesterday. I was on the hunt for a hidden best but have found anything. There isn't anywhere for them to go really

That is funny! I went on a hut for hidden nests yesterday. The lean too on my Grandpa's granary is a prime place in the summer. Having all sand here the birds go in there and take dust baths all winter. I searched through all the junk in there looking for nests. I found none.

Do not let it bother you too much. Chicks have a high mortality rate. Even in the summer some are just going to die and there is no way to really tell who it is going to be.
