Ahhhh ouch poor hen kloppers. I think there are some strategies you can try to help so I hope you google. But understand if it becomes recalcitrant and you need to cull.
Welcome Jon425. There is much to know about chickens... A learning curve so visit the coops pages when designing your coop. Look for those coops in MN to follow design, venting and other bells and whistles. Be smart on breeds. Single combs ( most popular breeds) do frost bite in our Minnesota temps. And visit the BYC education pages in how to get chicks started and on the right foot. Feed, heat, clean water bedding are main pieces but doing it right will determine your success.
