She's a BLue Laced Red Wyandotte. Yes. From MinnieChickMomma's "Barnyard" eggs. She's got some beautiful birds.

I got to say thanks for the tip on add blocker plus . I tried it and I like it . I now have it on all 3 browsers . I can now use FireFox again without problems .

Jerry: Tell me about the ad Blocker. Was it a purchase from one browser in particular? I think Google Chrome wanted a minimal donation for theirs. Like $5 or whatever you wanted to give them. I didn't commit anything. But anyways I think it would help solve some computer slowness I have at home.

Holm. brockel faced he is. That is not a bad name for him. I have been called that a time or two myself. I could tell you a story about a wild cow with a calf but it would take too long. If we ever meet in person ask me about it. As the old saying goes " if I see you downtown, I'll buy you a rootbeer".

It is not bad out here, 15 degrees and the sun is shining with no wind of note. It feels pretty good.

I don't want to sound like too much of a squeaky wheel again from the last time as blockers came up... But...
Don't forget that ads are what keeps this site free and online! I know they suck and slow the site down, I see the shockwave crash error frequently. But if everyone blocks the ads for free and doesn't buy the golden feathers our lovely chicken club could find itself homeless!

I won't nag, but just want to remind everyone.

One of these days the ads will get the best of me and I will become Chicken Wrangler Jr?!?!!

Sadie Mae is home in her kennel. Woozy and sleepy. All went well. Micro-Chipped First time we've done that. Check that off the list.

She went around the corner of the garage to do her numbers I'm guessing. Or Puke...not sure what number that is.
When she came in I noted a scratch on her nose. I was getting ready to call vet and ask about any accidents with the intubation. But then I remembered she was fuzzy faced when I got her...never noticed it. I think she took a digger in the crunchy snow. Poor thing.

I usually get ads that look alot like products I've already bought or have browsed. I'm not worried about BYC going in the dumpers.

Glad she is home safe. I am also glad you microchipped. We foster for the humane society and have personally brought 4 dogs back to their owners thanks to microchips. Some the same day!

We picked up a hound dog a ways from out farm a week or so ago and she even had the collar tag on from the chip company so we were able to get her home with a phone call. She had wandered 3.5 miles from home

Our dogs are both chipped. $35 is cheap peace of mind

Yes. It will be interesting to see if we ever "need it". Our vet charged $45 today. But he is reasonable with Spaying: $175 today.

I went to the official site . Tried it on chrome first as that is what I was using for this site only . It is free but they ask for a donation . When I complain about problems to this site they really give you no help . Turns out it is the ads . Yeah I think they know it is the ads .

I bought the golden feather and still could not use FireFox . The add blocker lets in the ads that support the site or so it says . I found 36 from this site and like 256 from other sites when I checked in chrome . Way too much and I paid for the golden feather so yes I am paying to support this site and got limited improvement .
