What is pinterest?

Someone probably answered you already.. It is an application (Klops?) that is free and you can google it and then sign up for it if you wish. It gives alllllll kinds of ideas that you 'pin' to boards you have created in your pinterest account. You can go back to review them and you can view others pinterest also to see if you want any of their pins. Very cool and time consuming but fun shopping through the ideas.

It is a handy thing. I've been using Pinterest to get ideas on finishing our basement. You just type in the "finished basement" and a stream of photos and their internet links/blogs come up explaining how they did something. Or did something on the cheap (my favorite part). It's a crafter/cookers dream app.

My husband uses it in his General Contract activities. Not only are there boards with pin ideas, he creates a secret board for homeowners he is doing work for and they can save ideas on that secret board to share with him about ideas they like in the construction process and results.
