I have been having hard hankerings lately to get sheep! It keeps coming up in conversation in random places and it is hard not to think about! I could have flocks of chickens and herds of sheep roaming my farm!!

I had sheep when I lived in Barnum area for a few years but the wolves decimated them and I sold the whole flock. It was a never ending battle and I surrendered.

Plus the DNR and FEDs were pains in the rear...they said it was coyotes and not wolves, I said good I am going to shoot and trap them. Then they said "Oh, no you better not, they could be wolves"...

BTW I know they were wolves I saw one with a 25 pound lamb clear a 5 1/2 ft fence and never break stride, with paw prints the size of a pie pan.

I would say there are mega wolf issues if I saw one down here. We do have yotes though. But that isn't anything my 'critter gitter' can't handle
