Thats as bad as eating a snake! I question so peoples actions sometimes amd whether they r sane or not.... As long as he doesnt start eating snakes he will be mostly normal...

@KlopKlop look at this mess I made a pound cake for our anniversary we are having strawberry shortcake it tastes good but it totally fell apart when I removed it from the pan. Oh well..

Bummer! im sure it still tastes great! DW was a dear and left me a pan of peanutbutter rice crispy treats for when she was gone

Okay cool I'll look them up! Hope they turn out to be good quality! Do you know if cochins are able to fly onto a fairly high roost?

My Cochin bantam from my pet chicken can fly pretty well even though she is heavy and has tiny wings. My breeder Cochin bantam doesn't fly high at all.

I was able to leave L & M without adding to my numbers.

. Sunday I'm making a special trip for hatching eggs. It's a drive but I want a good hatch rate so putting the miles on my car.

it was so nice out i spent the whole evening outside playing with the chickens and the dogs. we walked several miles and now we are all pooped! that wind really takes it out of you. i sure as heck will be in bed on time tonight if not early haha I need to have my energy back tomorrow to be productive! I need to get a cart/stand built for my corn grinder done tomorrow so i can grind feed on saturday!

I always thought before that prolapse meant a hen would die, or at least never lay again. That's great your hen is doing good! Did you have to treat her at all?

Nope, I let her run off and do her thing, I figured let her die however she wants. I think she spent a few days under the granary in the sand.
