Surviving Minnesota!

I am still obsessing over the side sprig.

I have looked and looked for images and definitions. The one on the rear is definitely one. The one on the side is doubtful in my mind. I have had zits that start out larger than that. It almost just looks like a wide spot on the comb. I am going to have to make a trip in the near future to MnChicks to look at these. Not that it changes anything. I just need to educate myself.

The ones on Lucky and Lucky Jr, if that is what Holm named them are to the rear and on each side of the comb, not actually touching the comb, those are most definitely disqualifying, except everything about Lucky disqualifies him.

Now back out to work.

Holm, now that you are a golden feather, you can get a title. I think Junior Chicken Wrangler works well,,,

Or Chicken wrangler, Junior Division.

You are welcome to visit anytime....we can even make the 1/2 mile trip to my father - in - laws to check out the unnamed rooster (from you) that does not have the sprig. (At least that I can see.)

Hi all! Anyone want or need some roosters? I know it's a long shot, but won't know unless I offer.

I don't mind if you want to eat them. I just don't feel like butchering them myself.
$5 for one or more, or if you take them all, you can have them.

2 Bresse, 2 EEs (from eggs I got from Ralphie), 4 or 5 BLRWs, and one Cream Legbar (although, I'm not sure if he has enough on him to eat.)

Bresse are on my want list! But I already filled out my bird paperwork... Good luck finding them homes!
