Does anyone here have button quail or know anything about them?

I had them before . Egg laying machines . Not really a meat bird IMO . If you like pickled eggs or mini boiled eggs . I guess they are ok .

No but they use to promote those quail for that purpose . I do not like my eggs that small or my meat either .

Baby bunnies are the worst to keep alive! If I was closer I'd offer to maybe try and put it with my 2 week old market bunnies

Here is a springtime picture of a wild green . I use them while small . It is in the dock/buckwheat family like sorrel . Not bitter . Grandma use to talk about sour dock and dandelion greens . I do not like bitter . So no endive or arugula for me . Anyway I had some of this green with supper . I had some frozen . Might be growing wild in the banana belt .

Good Question we have not heard from him in ages,

Hey all! got a bleep on my phone you mentioned me. Made me realize how long it has been since i checked in. I have been working full steam on the farm and things have been good. I just wrapped up the last of the roof framing this weekend, my first inspection will be this week and hopefully i will have the roof on and the doors/windows/siding done within 3 weeks. We also will be closing on our old house in 3 weeks. i am hoping things will slow down by then. Here is last photo of the progress. I have since finished cutting and framing the eves.



As much fun as i have had building this thing, i can also appreciate why people pay a building crew to do it for them. I work all day at my job, then work until sunset on this. a crew of a few guys could have had this thing done already.

What is new with everyone else? I am sure i have missed out on a bunch and look forward to catching back up. It makes me smile that you guys still think of me!!
