You beat me to it in sharing that video. I got it from my brother today and it cracked me up!

My buckeye is crazy big. She is getting older and has not laid eggs since last spring. And just a few of them. I

They do get pretty heavy after their third year and I find they do drop off in laying about that time too. I am culling 4 of my biggest hens, but they have provided me with plenty of eggs and chicks, so now they move on to their next purpose.

Today should be a day of productivity! Let's see how far I get. First place to start is my daughter's room. Maybe if I get it "Mom" clean she will do a better job? One can only hope.

Good morning, chicken folks! I hope everyone has a wonderful day! Layers, good luck at school today. Keep your chin up and keep doing your best, it's all anyone can ask. If a whole class fails a test, it is more of a reflection on the teacher than the students, in my experience.
