Surviving Minnesota!

Heading out for my concert in 20 minutes. Weird to think I was fixing fence 15 minutes ago

All of the clothes at either super short or to baggy cause I was in track during our spring concert and had a lot more muscle

Ivie: lice and mites happen to the best of set-ups and pampering and such. Old hay bales... Yes I've heard that. Wild turkeys and birds visiting. I've quit feeding wild birds in part due to this issue. But I've also seen my territorial high hens and roosters give good chases to jays, flickers, robins... You name it. And they've got pretty close. Comical but pITA if the wilds are sharing cooties.

I like natural too Ralphie. I put mint in broody nests as a preventative. Tea tree oil is suppose to be a repellent for lice. I'll also use Neem oil on roosts- smells orangey. Rotten oranges probably more like. Lol. I'm sure there's more natural stuff. I'm not completely sold on DE.

Thank you Holm!  Trying to measure up to your birds and photography!  :D

Believe me your birds look about 20 times better than mine do right now! Even my Buckeyes are molting! Non have wing feathers or tail feathers! But I will say they are starting to get really dark and will be something to look at in about a month ;) I will get some pics this weekend and share!
