Surviving Minnesota!

@KlopKlop That sounds like a busy day...

@holm25 Bantams? Did she get rid of her full size ones? The bantams are cute. When I was at Hutch I saw all the banties and for a few minutes thought I should switch to them.

Less feed, I could have more because of less room needed. Then reality hit and I realized it would make a handy tasty treat for the predators, and I would need a dozen eggs to make a sandwich.

I have no plans today, other than a trip to the Ortho Surgeon. my hips and knees have finally degraded to the point I need to do something about them or get rid of everything and just fish and mow lawn with my walker.

Yep little bantams. She did get rid of them over the summer I believe. I don't have much for predators around here any the only ones who cause trouble are the coons but they don't last long after they take a bird...

Have fun at the Ortho Surgeons today... Just fishing would be OK be the mowing is a deal breaker. Good luck!

Good for you ralphie. That has been a hard choice for you I know. My grandma was insane and had both knees replaced at the same time. She refused the long 2 step process the doctor wanted because she needed to be able to climb the ladder into the tractor by spring work season.

She was a pretty tough lady

Boy, you have an uphill fight in live. I feel for you.

German helps if it is real German and not the fake type like Jerry and Judy claim too.. But mixed with Lesser Scandinavian and Lesser Native blood, It will be rough for you.... Everyone knows Sioux is the top of the list.
I don't have a lot of Native blood in me or German. Mostly Norwegian. My Great Grandpa had a heavy Norwegian accent...

Just because I am seein ga surgeon does not mean I will let him chop me up... Getting a new knee is not something I ever wanted in life. I was hoping to leave with all my original equipment intact.

I would see if you could get the cow who raised the b----. I really like that cow;) She sure did do a good job on that heifer... Do you know what bull that heifer was out of?

Nope. That's wasn't the cow with the B caw either. The cow with the B calf is actually my sisters

No I don't know what bull the cow had on her since we bought her last year.
I absolutely love that Baldie though. I would love it if I got her..

Why? Are you trying to feed deer catnip?

I think the reason most deer do not use google is they have very poor internet connections and the little thing just keeps circling on their screens...

Not trying to feed it to them

Monday I went and harvested some catnip to dry for the cats winter fun, Tuesday night I thought I heard coyotes so I opened a bedroom window to listen and heard what sounded like a large cat YEOWLING.
My cats come inside at night, that is why they are still living, 10 and 15 years old... So yesterday I was out near the catnip patch and saw what I had not harvested( a lot) was mostly eaten. So was it deer, bear,
raccoon, bob cat, lynx, mountain lion. ?
