Young roosters seem to just take advantage of the girls. The older guys wait, sometimes too long, it seems to get permission. Weinerhead did his job in seconds.  The Dom roosters were extremely fast.  Ed and King George did nothing. I replaced King George with two other young guys.  I would like to use Cuddles, but I am keeping him inside in an attempt to keep his comb from being damaged.

My Bucks spent to much time chasing Guineas away to breed I think lol! They do still breed the hens but not much. What is Cuddles? Could u just turn him out for an hour or two with the hens u want him with?

Cuddles is my SS rooster that did not turn mean... The mean one lives in Foley now. (if he is still alive).

He is the one that insists on being held when I open his cage. I have thought about giving him a bigger cage and bringing the hens into him for a few minutes.

I moved the waterer into the coop and it was tipped over. Water in the shavings. I will have to work on my adjustment of it in there...so it's not tippable. Dang it. How did I do it the previous 4 years for Pete's Sake.

Jerry sounds like the honeymoon is back on for Europe.

Car chasing LGD (Pyrenese) in town. Not a good habit with icy roads for that canine. Eek. Obviously Territorial with the bad habit of car chasing. If Sadie lived on a busy car road I have no doubt she'd be a car-chasing idiot. Thank God for small mercies. One boat trailer fixes the problem.

As much as I hate to do it I might just AI some birds. My Cochin hen is going in a cage soon... Yeah I didn't do that the other day. I made a brooder which is going in my basement. I might wait till next year to get a new incubator and just use my Hova for now... Idk yet... it's a lot of money so I have just been thinking on putting money aside as I get it... There is so many things I need and not slot of funding. I am going to sell some mutt chicks this spring to make some cash. I also need to start work again lol...

I sell ducks for $25-$30 a piece and they sell pretty quick.
