Ummmm Ralphies mental condition must be wearing on me as well.

God knows it is not the fact that I have been working 12-14 hour days the past 2 weeks at work....then home to regular domestic duties and chickens.

I look back and laugh at my stupidity. In the mean time I am very willing to give up my cell number to anyone who wants all the calls. Between co-workers calling at all hours of the overnight because they locked themselves out of the TimeClock, and Payroll system. and then the "R" rated calls I have been receiving the past 2 weeks......

Lent doesn't officially start until after you go to Ash Wednesday mass right....otherwise I just blew my lenten promise of being more patient and less whiny.

Every Wednesday at church during lent we have a soup and sandwich... That's all we do for lent...

You must be burnt out! Hopefully you can get a few days "off" soon. Although my mother has told me there is no such thing as a day off when you have kids...

Gray windy day with falling temps today . Hey BC if you get that deer running lab to hunt shrooms just remember if the dog takes off fast on a track it is a deer . Shrooms do not run .

I think I will take my laptop in today . Have someone show me how to import from SD card . Did it once . Took 2 laptops and 2 people . DW and I can not remember what we did . This Mac is very different from what I had .

My wafer came. Time to get the bator up and running...

I have to get bands in my Guineas this weekend... Figure I might as well before anyone starts laying and we start hatching them... Gonna use Green bands for any birds I hatch or purchase this year. Then I know how old birds are or when I purchased them... Also gonna toe punch any chicks I hatch. I tried it on my little young EE and i really like it.

The WW is getting a new hip today . DW took her in . I have a appointment to get a shot in the right knee at 1 . Woke up to a hurting neck and shoulder . Left a message for the Chiro and of course the broken toe . So 3 of 4 limbs impaired . Not going to cause any trouble today .

Hey BC any news on the motel lady . WW was getting some calls from Minneapolis that she did not accept . Prison maybe ?

I think she is out Jerry. I have not seen her myself. But perhaps she gave them bigger fish to fry.

Now wouldn't that be a nice trade-off on labrador skills. She is a busy little thing. Neighbors were up this past weekend and we were home. I really did some collar training on her with the new fangled beep-buzz-zap collar. She didn't go over there the whole weekend. She wanted to...but she rethought it when she got the buzz at the end of their drive way. She's a total PITA. But I do also see some maturing going on with her.

Right now she's chewing her way through expensive BB socks.

@holm25 , where did you get your green bands from? I'm going to sell of some of my chicks and want to band the ones to keep. I don't want another "I sold your favorite chicken" occurrence! Poor DH.

On a sad note, one of my little chicks got dive bombed and it's knee joint got dislocated. I tried popping it back in and secured it. It seemed fine for a few days, but just popped back out again. I don't foresee this being something I can resolve. I'm a wuss when it comes to the little ones. Any humane suggestions for putting it to sleep?
