Surviving Minnesota!

Just a lesson plan form she requires. I know it is so that we get all the parts lining up with standards and so on and on. So many things once you have been teaching for awhile are just one process and to go back and break it all down again is tedious and make me over think things all the time. took me over 6 hours to write a stupid lesson plan being sure I had all the parts she wanted. Then trying to remember what she wanted for them and going back to listen to the lecture parts over again and again. Probably didn't help that I was doing it late at night and just needing it done. Or the fact that I have been out of college for 14 years nearly and I forget what school assignments are like. Just a general disgust right now. But it is done and submitted and I was one of only a few not asking for an extension. Makes me think I am not alone.

Feeding natural grains ( non GMO is for yuppies) as opposed to pellets or crumbles will result in droppings which are more firm. The processed feeds do have additional nutrients which is difficult to duplicate with natural grains. I do like Fleet Farm Whole Flock Pellets. The nutrient quality is very good in relation to price.
During what I determine to be the breeding period for my birds I do like to feed Game Bird Breeder pellets. I like the protein level and the added animal nutrient.
I feed the All Flock from FF too, I have virtually no wasted feed with these pellets. I have one of the bigger metal hanging feeders that I feed out of. The Scovies fling out pellets, but the chickens/guinea eat it off the ground. The price seems to keep going up on it though. It used to be 12.99 a bag I think, and now it's something like 13.49

Even so compared to the waste in the crumbles and mash I think it is worth it. Here I pay 14 something.

Here I pay $9.00 for layer mash, $10.00 for layer crumble and I dont remember the pellet price... I am gonna swap out all my feeders this weekend with feeders like Ralphies and if I still have lots of waist I will try pellets.

I actually have to make a feed run later... And get more stuff for feeders.... And some DE... I am gonna dust everything again beings wild birds are starting to show up again. I hate sparrows....

For my show birds I use Heims Egg Mash 18% (It is in pellet form though) 8.70 per 50lb bag, Yokie (yokahomma roo) gets 22% game bird pellets - $11.XX and the layers get the good ole Heim's Concentrate mixed per instructions (oats, corn, soybean meal, calcium, concentrate). The concentrate is $16 or 17 per 50lb bag.

Holm!!! Your chicks roomies are here and out of the hatcher, I had to take them out they were just too active and causing problems. The hybrid vigor really shows in the EE versus the show birds.
Oh my goodness! They are so dang cute! And that dark one with the head spot! I had one die while hatching like that in the batch from you and I was so disappointed! So cute Ralphie!

Cute chicks ralphie!!

So My school has a speech team and there's 30 kids in my class. Out of those 30 kids 20 are in speech. In my math class, 6th hour, there were 5 of us so we played cards, we had a study hall 7th hour and there was only 1 kid in our math teachers class, so we played cards in our math teachers room again. And 8th hour we had a study hall again so we played more cards in our math teachers room

Sounds fun! Nertz is a well known game here... We should not be able to play it... My Aunts and mom start saying words that would get someone put on double secret probation if they said them on here...
