I can't resist but to add my 2 cents this morning! Whole Hearted Agreed....would rather work with men....or at least country women. They seem to understand the value of TEAMWORK and HARD WORK.

As for the drama queens....I need to squash one. I just received a call from my 12 year old daughter...she was all out sobbing.

DD: "Mom, You are not going to believe this....just remember I take really good care of my chickens and I love them....but Mom one of my Yokkies (yokkahamas) died." 

Me: "It's really ok....this is just nature's way of culling the weak, and if it was a male, it is for the best anyway...."

DD: "It was a male, the scrawny one. I just wanted to prove to you that during spring break I could care for the chickens all by myself so you could have a break from all the chores. I guess I am not as good as you."

Me: "Wrong....you are better than me...you can calm a rooster in 2 meetings flat. Plus this week's weather is not on your side."

DD: "Ok - I will give it a proper creamation and call it good."

Me: "NOOO....Unless your Grandpa helps you, you are not allowed to use the torch to start a fire in the incinerater while home alone."

I do not believe in equal pay, I believe you should be paid what you are worth. If some dude works more, harder, better, whatever, than me, he should get paid more. If I work harder, better, whatever, than him, I should get paid more. They should start at the same pay for the same level and the same experience, However, the BS where everybody gets the same pay raise, no matter if they are a load, or if they work hard, really turns my crank.

Luckily, my work gives raises by work, not by gender.

It does. And I agree. Thank you for making me think outside the box. I do think there are still plenty of work places not adhering to your standard, though.

Holm, it is good that you did not hit the ground to hard when you bottomed out doing the splits, or you may have done some permanent damage to yourself !! No kidding !!

I had two boys and did not have to put up with the drama provided by females, but the free spirited adventures of young men will turn a man grey prematurely !!

BC, I hate to be serious but that Pine may be a good source of seed for a variety which is resistant to White Pine Blister Rust? Perhaps you should attempt to save some seeds if possible.

I have been thinking about the discussion this morning about female co-workers.

I actually supervisor a bunch of females. They act like old hens. If I give one a little praise the others want it.

If I give one a little reward for a job well done, they all want it. If they are not happy with me they snap at me. If I try to inspect the quantity and quality of their work and they are not quite ready to have me look at it, they almost bite my hand off.

I can be in their work area and they will say something, I do not have the greatest hearing, and if I did not answer them or they did not like the answer all I hear is "waaaaaaat?" and it never ends!

Sometimes when I enter their work area they gang up on me and I can hardly get my work done. They seem to be underfoot all the time.

They are demanding and not subtle about their demands. Manners is something they do not possess.

They can be very dirty too, I keep telling them to keep it clean and the next thing you know they are dropping S*** everywhere. They make me pick it up, they never do! No matter how hard I try I cannot get them to pick their **** up.

When they are done eating they just walk away from their food, no thank-you , no offer to help clean up, nothing they just go get in their little click and cackle away.

I understand after evaluating my day what you women were talking about now.

You know Ed I will check out the pine cones out there. I'll have to be quick about it. There's an active red squirrel population here. I have another white pine the same size very near by. I can also check the un mowed area nearby to see if there are some seedlings coming up underneath. Interesting.

Saga continues. 2 sheriffs cars pull up to the house (drug house as we lovingly call. However, They did not drag anyone out. very disappointed. anyone know why 2 sheriffs cars would pull up, 4 officers go in, and only the 4 officers come out? So tired of that house, DH and I are almost positive there is nefarious stuff going on there...

That sounds like a warrant or paper service. If there was or is someone suspected of staying at the house and there is an active arrest warrant this would be the way they would serve it. It could also be Domestic or something. However someone would leave then....

Search and seizure laws are extremely complicated, (despite what your local bar stool attorney might say). One of the things required is to not vary the procedure from time to time. Some law enforcement agencies have started sending 2 cars to all warrant and paper services. By doing this there are 4 extra eyeballs to look for illegal substances or stolen items when inside a dwelling. The biggest key is gaining lawful entry into the premise. Paper service allows this and/or the person "inviting you in".

Also with some of the Black lives matters type activities there is becoming less and less one man cars and one car serving paper.

I could go on but I think I covered it. And as usual I could be full of poop....And it could be something completely different.
