Surviving Minnesota!

Oh man I miss my Token Silkie. I never thought I would. But I sort of do miss that Miss Muffet, Dixie.

Thanks guys. I have to pick up some more bluekote tomorrow. Not sure when I will make it to town though....

Almost too late to read but had to catch up rather than be left out of the loop. Went to the Osseo Fleet Farm today so I would know what to expect when the one they are building in Monticello opens its door. Its okay. I only spent $360 so they must leave something to be desired

Ouch!

I got some meat bird feed at 21% and have mixed chick starter, meat bird and egg layer feed together. IF that doesn't help these lazy layers I am deflated. Then I think I simply must wait til we are in the 50's each day and then IF that does not help . . . .
Evidentially Patience is a virtue I do not possess.

Tomorrow I am not taking my car out of the garage. Stayin home a l l l l day and doing some nesting myself.

Poor lady! Any fertility luck with Mr. T? I keep eyeing up some pencilled chocolate palm eggs from Porter's.

I have seen him breed my bronze hen but not the hens from Ralphie but it looks like they have been bred. They seem to be eyeing up spots to lay so hopefully soon!

I have to get my Muscovys into their breeding pens soon and then my next step is to decide what I want to do for Turkeys. I think DH sweats every time I start a conversations with, "So, if we built (insert dimensions) for (insert bird type)....etc.....etc.". Ha hah!

Entered cochins in another virtual show.
I did not get good pictures of anyone for this

Good Morning Jerryse and Ralphie (who is up in Duluth by this time) - Good Morning Chickeners . . . . Saw a female cardinal in the tree outside the bathroom window two mornings ago and a blue bird while walking during Grandma Daycare on Monday. I have not seen any Robins yet.
