Surviving Minnesota!

I have a big bottle of Irish whiskey with one jigger out of it. Kids drank all my ginger ale! So I could get that.

EMo I saw your photo of chickens roosting with the pink back drop and I now see where
That was taken. That stone building-- omg!!! The roof, the potential there. Well it's already cool!

I made two batches of soap tonight. One scent is pine, the other is oak leaves.DH has a turkey banquet this Saturday and wanted a gift basket of my soaps. I will have to figure out something to go with them.

Ivie my poor little RIR always was low hen and the roosters favorite. She was incessantly mated and she began hiding like yours. I'd find her roosted on an old couch in the pole shed after worrying sick bout her trying to find her. Just like yours. Rosie was our first friendly bird. She laid eggs like gangbusters. But then began internal laying. Broke our hearts to lose her.

I'm no where near 95 and that's pretty much my life right now hehe...

I so understand this.

We have 2 houses here (as those of you that have been here know) We live in the old farm house that was pretty much a disaster when we move here. We remodeled it and will be for the rest of our lives. I love the place, which is odd because as a kid I hated living in an old run down house.

People ask us if we will move into the newer house when my Mom is gone and are surprised when we say "nope, staying here" We did put a small deck on it that we spend a lot of time on. When we doing the house we tried to keep it looking old inside while making it air tight and energy efficient. Of course. DW thinks we need trim, but I say why???

Oh no worries! Lots of soda - We are always well stocked with "mixers" for our whiskeys

. Gosh it sounds like we are a couple of lushes but really, we aren't!

We joined one of those wine clubs, We ended up with so much wine in a year, we will never drink it all. We thought we liked wine, I guess those clubs are for people that REALLY like their wine..

So I understand, people might think we are heavy drinkers too, when I guess we are hardly even drinkers.

BTW we quit the wine club. Who can drink 20 bottles of wine a month?

Okay. I have to say out of all the ducks I've seen on here....Those Khaki CAmpbells would be the ones I'd get....The Muscovies with their weird red faces aren't that attractive to me. IDK... But It's not going to happen. I don't want to deal with Water in the Winter for those Wet-pooped beasts.
