Ralphie, please try not to distract Jerry. He is coming to Minnesota to saw logs, and if he gets rested substantially to cut some lumber. If he wants to go fishing it will be difficult for him to find any time to hunt for mushrooms.

Parents are taking me home, just passed Eagles Nest.
I got 3rd in 300 hurdles with a PR time of 49.88. I was ahead of the fastest girl in the region until the last 50 meters.
I got 2nd in the 5th heat of the 100. There were so many of us late for the 100, I'm not sure of my time.
I only jumped 4'7" in high jump, I need to work on form a lot this week, I could clear 5'1" if I had better form.
I also PRed in 200 dash with a time of 28.?? Not sure what it was exactly.

Confession time... I went to L&M for a camo and came home with a box of Duccles and Cochin bantams... Should have seen the look I got from a couple when I bought them all....

It is either "Alfonso" or "Etta" depending on sex.  The leg drop says it will be "etta".

Not sure where you got Etta from but I wanted Ellie to be Etta. Also it is the name of one of my GGGGreat Grandmothers. I can't remember how many Greats or if it was Fehr or Siedlitz sized.

Ralphie I noticed something with my EEs from you. All the light colored ones turned male and dark with heavy stripes were females. Coincidence? Probably. Just thought it was interesting

Morning . It is good . I actually planned to mushroom hunt . The 8th may be a little sudden . I will have to get the camper out and set up , the dock in , the water on , the sawmill set up . Most of the logs are already stacked ready to mill . Gotta get them milled and out of the building area . Excavator lined up and permit this trip . Busy summer ahead . Weather permitting I should have the logs milled in the 2 weeks I will be there . Then home and a weekend of bluegill spawn fishing in IL . Still got some fish in the freezer this year . I love the spawn fishing . IL has no state limit on sunfish so I stock the freezer .

I managed to get out of them safely yesterday, thank goodness they only had 3 common breeds instead of ones I wanted or I'd have been doomed.

Good Morning Chickeners . . . . I love all the chick talk. When you confessed Holm I was 'jelly'. You have the room and living on a farm must be wonderful. Alot of work too - I know that. But still, all those babies and eggs. Cool ILL's seeing the Eagles nest. We have three Eagles around here. One must be young and in training. It sure makes alot of noise when it is up high in a tree. I noticed it following another Eagle one day. Doing exactly what that Eagle was doing. Interesting.
