Surviving Minnesota!

Arvig Communications will be you're provider.
Janet is your girl! Thick or thin. Land of Lincoln or the Lake!
Tonight I took Sylvia on a stroll along the weed line on our grass. Her one good eye scanned out the raspberries right away. My little rolly-Polly hen of 5 years munched our way along. She's so cute. With her raggedy purple hair on her head. ( blue-kote from dressing her head wound)
She is healing well. Found out why. Juniors beak is cracked very badly more than half way through and up. When he roosts I will get him up to the house for a patch job. Although I have half a mind to leave it as is to give Sylvia a break. But he is also important to me. Has the most important job. Actually. He'll be getting the care he needs.

Janet misses the internet while at the lake . I bet she gets it this trip . Not sure what or where they will put it . Camper at first  . I will miss her outside . She spends more time outside without the internet . I do keep my phone on me ( in case I need 911 ) but not as much in the heat . Prone to shed my shirt when I get hot . Got my Arctic Cool shirts in the mail today . That may help .

The broken beak is new. Fresher wound on his foot as well some scales scraped. I wonder if he got into it with something or if it's from jumping down from the roost and tearing around after hens. I noticed I did leave the fan I took down on the coop floor... I hope I hadn't left a hazard. Plenty of other places to jump down .
