I removed the 4 remaining birds and they are inside the barn in a cage now. I am putting Cuddles and the SS hens in a cage inside at night.

I am not using the Guinea Gulag until I can rebuilt the entire thing. To be honest, I am at my wits end.

I pulled the game camera this morning, I had reset it on that pen nothing there.

I am going to redo all my pens, I just cannot afford these kind of loses. (if I can ever do any work again) Maybe I should really retire.

Time will tell. I did see a rabbit last night, but no squirrels around yet.

Ralphie after your last post, I am more suspecting thievery. 96 birds do not go missing without some trace of what happened. Mutts or not, some would be happy to eat them, and there is always a ready market for started pullets of any kind. Especially EE if any were that.
I suspect that with all those coming and going you have been exposed to some that would like the five finger discount.
A little story here.
When I developed P/ABD I was convinced I needed to get rid of all my birds. One of my pigeon club friends sent a couple of young fellows to me, and I gave them many pigeons and chickens for free. They seemed very interested in if I had any European imported racing pigeon breeders yet ? I told them that I did, and I kept my Rottweiler in the pigeon loft at night and when I was not around. I had a Rottweiler at the time, and they could hear it barking and growling in the garage when we were near it. I told them I would show them the dog. but that I might not be able to hold her in my current weakened condition. I never had a problem, but am convinced that I would have.

EJB, As much as I hate to say it. I think you might be right. I have tried to not look at "bad" in people. I have seen enough of that for a few life times.

I believe my SS last your were taken by a 2 footer.... 95% sure. These were some of my best show birds. I even have a 70% feeling who the culprit was.

There were around 40-50 Cream legbars in the pen, about half were whites. They do have a value, but only to people like me, The rest were Appletini's, PC, SS and EEs. Some were good quality. One or two might have been show, it was my "maybe" pen.

This just sickens me....what in the he(double hockey sticks) is wrong with people now a days. Work for a living and earn what is rightfully yours. If it aint yours respect it and leave it alone.

Awful, just awful... The fact there was no mess definitely points to a two legger. Can you hide a camera so they can't mess with it??
