So Miss Yellow of the Toads died a couple days ago. Tuesday I believe. Not sure why. Thought it was the heat so I brought her in the shop and put a fan on her. She was drinking quite a bit and looked perked up. Checked mid morning the next day, I had put her in the coop over night and she was dead.

Sold 4 hens and it looks like my RIR rooster is now where to be seen. No trace of him anywhere. Just weird.Off to the lake again this weekend. Off to get the chores done and finish packing everything up.

Just wanted to check in.

Bummer about the toad. Heat is their enemy. Have they started laying? Do you have any under incubation? There is a guy in Ca that wants toads, I don't have enough to fill his needs. He wants 100, I can get like 15 at a time tops.

We are going to Wisc tomorrow for the Siedlitzski family reunion. It will be me and 400 pollacks....

I am a little disappointed in someone on here....

I have been waiting and waiting for them to post how they did at the fair and they have not done so.......

Let's (without my giving it all away) say I am pretty happy with what they did.......

BTW the price of Yokahama's doubled overnight.

I am hoping I got lucky and have all my birds today.

Three days ago, I got 36 eggs..
two days ago I got 6.
Yesterday I had 30...

Here is the difference..

3 days ago the dog was too lazy to go outside and was inside most the day..
2 days ago she was outside...
Yesterday, I opened the chicken door instead of the man door and the dogs are too fat to get through the chicken door....


I forgot to close the chicken door because I so seldom open it..this morning I have chickens all over the yard already...

Stinking stupid egg eating dog...Good thing my Dad is not still alive, it was a death sentence for any dog caught eating an egg when I was a kid.


I have to do something different so I remember the door in the future..

Also if I did lose some it was not anyone important, as I moved Andy into a show cage last night. He was not a happy Andy.
