Surviving Minnesota!

Oh I read it too quick Tfred. One egg inside a rubber egg is not usual. But again with young girls...nothing impossible as Ralphie said. I've seen a huge egg--looked like a double yolker and when it was cracked open another egg was within it.

So one girl and her little ovaries are sending stuff too fast to the shell maker. Cute. LOL.
We ate our first dozen eggs yesterday morning. 8 double yolks!

Wow. She must throw twins almost every ovulation! My first flock I had a black australorp and she would do a double Yolker every other egg. Your getting bang for your buck on those chanteclers I think TFred!
We've got a couple laying for sure. Only the one girl I know. The others are a mystery. They lay mid-morning and early afternoon so nobody really sees. But we're getting 1-2 a day now.
