BC...I have the same criteria for my birds. Currently I have the Australorps, Double Laced Barnvelders, and the SS. SS being my favorite but the Lorps and Barnies are social & sweet too. One of my Barnvelders. Their combs aren't too big.

Thanks! I love the feather pattern of the Barnies. Not a great picture of the blue....she looks a little physco.

Awe that barnevelder is gorgeous and she has a cute cute face too. Minnie used to breed these but I missed the cut when she eliminated them and I was ready for some hatching eggs. I've heard barnies are sweet and docile.
