Surviving Minnesota!

I would like to have it down to 2 coops or better yet just a barn. I have 2 4x8 coops(duck house and main chicken house) , 1 3x4 coop (pullet house), and 1 3x3 or so(Call ducks).

Oh and that's feet not meters. :)

The word "meters" confused her....spell it incorrectly like "metres" and she will understand....:lau

Jerry that hen is stunning... Maybe she wanted some highlights?

Ralphie I picked up some of that hamburger dog treat stuff in hopes of taming down the Dom Cockerel and I'm not having any luck... The Dom pullet is settling down and so are the Yokis but not the Cockerel...

Violinplayer if all of your birds are special I don't think you will be able to downsize... I set a limit of 2-3 keepers from each year and they will all be my trusty broodies...

Speaking of broodies. It looks as if one of my Bantam Cochins is broody. I guess my toads will have a mommy!

I did keep that mindset with my ducks this year, that they are not pets and I won't be keeping them all. It seemed to work.

View attachment 1150094 Ralph....you could always consider hauling your roosters like This! Notice they are even head to tail. I can just see the show folks watching you unwrapping your chicken burritos.

I wonder how they would travel like this,,,,it could make the trip to the show easier.....
