Surviving Minnesota!

Yesterday we got 4th at the tournament. It was pretty fun.
In I think the 2nd or 3rd pool play game I think I got a minor sprain on my ankle. The right side on our team always goes up early on blocks and so she comes down early, I don't know if she lands with a wider stance or I float like 1/2 an inch, but everyone once in a while my left foot will just barely land on her right foot and the inside of the ankle will turn in. In this game when it happened I it hurt but I was like just play it off. Our coach doesn't know how to wrap ankles so the DHS coach, who she knew, did.
In the semi final game it happened again but this time I heard a pop and couldn't put weight on it, and to be honest I shed maybe 2 tears and was fighting to keep a few others in, and I don't cry with pain ,ever. I don't think our coach noticed right away but our team did, and my sister, the libero yelled to our coach. Well the refs at this point still hadn't noticed, but literally everyone on our side of the gym, even the opposing teams coach had noticed. So our coah yells "Finish it out" so I am trying to play on one foot cause the refs still don't notice. Finally some kid hit it in the net or out, and I get subbed out thank gosh.
I haven't gone in yet, mainly cause my parents don't think I should but I still can't move my foot to the left, or right, or point it forward without quite a bit if pain. And I have a game om Tuesday so I kinda need a brace or something to play then.

Morning all...

I still have a little toad for sale FREE!!! Right now it is a pocket bird. It wants to be with people. Saint Judy started this, and now it will not shut up unless it is being held.

It needs a broody hen or some other chicks so it can have company. I am thinking of letting it play with the teenage cats.

I don't think it froze here yet, and I see a huge cloud bank rolling in, so it might not again.

I can type in peace again! I have taken the toad to the WWD who likes to stay in bed until noon on her days off....Now the two can bond together and I do not have to hear the peeping for a while.....:thumbsup

Another genius move on my part.
Doesn't your germaphobic part rebel at letting a chick on your bed?
