Surviving Minnesota!

So Jerryse . . . . how'd you fare through the storms. I have not had the time to listen to any news for the past two days so lookin to you for an update on the weather across the mid-section of the country. Someone who lives the weather, eye witness so on and so forth.

Holm - how you comin on the sale of those siblings. I simply cannot begin to fathom - store bought eggs? What in the world are they thinking?

Good Morning all! In Morris this morning as a result of yesterdays wedding. Hope to be leaving soon to see how many more chicks today!

Want me to run and check the chicks?????
My Dog went to College in Morris, There is a dog trainer right on the edge of town. She stayed there for 8 weeks. She left when they wouldn't let her vote in the city elections.

Morning . Went to coffee . Rain totals 1.25 , 2.8 and 3.0 reported . Limbs down nearby + some lost power .

Doesn't sound to severe for you then. That is good. I think yesterday was peak colors here. I noticed them yesterday on my way back from Monticello. The rain last night took most the leaves off the trees now.

I should go out and see how all the birds fared after their baths. If anyone wants to show a few SS, PC and a Dom pullet, I have an extra spot or two open. I paid for them but after the inspections and baths I am not sure I will be showing them all.

I am really feeling the damage done by the predators and low down poaching two legged skunk this summer.

I really like the one DOM cockerel, Dead Eye Jack-the CLB cockerel and the 2 PC cockerels I got back from MnChickmom. They should be in the running this year. The PC cockerels have actually became handle-able. He no longer wants to take my arm off when I hold him. He cannot resist being good when he knows he will get the fake hamburger. His stomach betrayed him.

Life is good with all the birds bathed.
