Surviving Minnesota!

Under some peoples rules, I WIN!!

I just got home from a meeting... Now I need to study the stuff and head to bed. We have a nice week ahead of us. I have a ton of work to do.
 Nope. Not possible. Under your own stated guidelines it said that it counts when a chickener has been to bed, fallen asleep and has then risen from whence they slept. You had not been to bed or asleep so hence, you did not win. Sorry to disappoint you but it was a nice try. Actually I was in shock - true shock - when I read that you thought you won based on the guidelines you had laid down previously.

It seems he may be cut out for politics after all . . he thinks the rules don't apply to him :lau

Good morning! Its chilly so far but going to be a nice week. We got more rain on Saturday so a muddy mess down here in southern MN again. Harvest season has been slow so far... just a few soybeans coming out and sugar beets just north of us.

Its going to be one of those years that I have to shrug and say good luck to everyone at the shows. Work, life...ughhh The people up in offices must be trying to fulfill quotas or something and have popped multiple mandatory meetings on us over next few weeks. I probably won't even make the New Ulm show at this rate... its not in the official calendar yet, but another big tournament where they put a flyer on our employee board. I don't think they realize we are supposed to have a life outside work... Even on Halloween day which was supposed to be my day off, we have a mandatory customer service meeting until 5 pm and get home about 6pm... Taking my kid out trick or treating will have to wait til a bit later in night.

I have to clean the motor on my redwood incubator... it is so gummed up from dust and stuff that it started making a knocking noise and fan was sticking. Birds are molting anyways and pullets aren't laying yet. I tossed the few eggs I had in there and said to myself that I would worry about it on a day off....

Ralphie..if that guy really wants to get into Polish, I'd have that breeder group of bantam buff laced. 1 smooth cock and 3 frizzled hens/pullets. Also have 1 extra frizzled buff laced cockerel and a frizzled white crested black cockerel. They aren't going to be cheap and are nice show stock. I also saw these down in southeastern MN on the Rochester CL.... The standard blue polish looked halfway decent. https://rmn.craigslist.org/grd/d/chickens-young-laying-hens/6345378774.html
