Surviving Minnesota!

He's old enough to be my Great Grandpa! (Actually my great Grandpa was born in 1922 and worked on the farm as soon as he could walk and talk)

Us old people did that as kids.......work work work work....Which is what made us such sweethearts and so knowledgeable about the true nature of dux.

And for the record, the weather vacuums tonight! I, had to run out in it and check the electric fence. Yep, I forgot to turn it back on after feeding the toads.

I Win..TO be continued.....

I win the Trifecta minus one! I was the last to post last night and the first this morning. How good am I?

I am thinking I should stay inside for a few weeks until this Gull Lake weather blows over and the Banana belt returns to normal.

Yep. . your a triple threat . . everyone better watch out :clap

Good morning all.
Just a slight dusting of snow :wee but it's cold and was pretty windy last night.

Still windy here.... I just saw a Pileated Woodpecker hovering as he faced into the wind... It appears he cannot fly NW as the wind is too strong for him...

Ok, I might have exaggerated that part about the woodpecker a tad..

I saw rabbits flying backwards today.... poor things were flapping their ears as hard as they could but the wind took them sailing straight west.

It rained a substantial amount here in the last 24 hours, but we don't even have a actual dusting of snow. Just a trace. It has turned cool 15 degrees and very strong wind. Free ranging may be free flying today.
