Surviving Minnesota!

You enabler, 530 ish? maybe 5.. or let me know what is better.

The later the better, I have to help a friend process some stew hens tomorrow. I should be home by 4.

I have some great eggs for you, all poopy and natural. just like hens like them. I am not sure what they are, there might be some legbar, Doms and PC, if they turn out to be show quality can I have them back?

I mixed all my eggs this morning before I knew I needed to save hatching eggs again......I don't want to hatch the EE' and mutts.

Ok 530, if you get held up let me know and I'll wait until after the concert gets out at 9.

Love the poopy eggs. If I had the choice I'd ask for Doms or SS :) anything is fine just to quit the broodiness.

I don't need anymore EE's. And you can have the show birds back, no problem! I will get pictures as they mature.

:) eggist returned. Townies asked me if my blue and green eggs were rotten. Then another townie told me I cant have a rooster or she would be afraid to eat eggs as there would be a chicken in them. One with the chick issue I want to educate; the rotten egger.. I want to hit with a shovel to better the species a bit. Woe is the woman who profers eggs. Also egg quiz for local hs is bass ackwards. Supposedly chickens that have white feathers lay white eggs. And brown chickens lay brown eggs. God help us all.

I really do not know what is in the bunch. I think there is one PC and 2 legbars the rest is a guess.

After the concert is fine too. But I should be back by 4ish.

Have an incubating egg problem. Just checked on my eggs again and I have one that its air pocket formed on the side. The chick is very active in there.

Is there anything I can do to save it or is it a loss??

How long has it been in?
Set it air sac up or if there is enough time left set it pointy end down and do not roll it much...They seldom hatch, for me, when I have a side saddle air sac though.
