Tfred, my first incubator was a hovabator. I had good luck with mine, put it in a room with no direct sunlight and run the machine no less than 24 hours before putting eggs in. Play around with which chambers give you desired humidity. For me it was chamber 1 and 4, I was able to keep humidity between 35 and 45 %

We watered my in laws plants just now before our trip and here they have this pet. He was spared a bullet because there are no chickens there.

I agree— pure gorgeousness.
I was going to say, I hope you had something a bit deadlier than a camera in the other hand...
