Jerry, my first (very small) hatch of Ameraucanas finished this morning. Hoping for a cockerel so I can replace the current brat. Three more eggs of theirs are under a broody too.

Some of my Grandpa's longhorn cows, he sells the steer calves to a friend who uses them for roping practice.

Last years crop of contracted steers, he contracted for 600 and averaged 620. No crepe just grass, mineral, and some cake

Having trouble labeling these . The blue flowers are squill . The greens are curly dock a wild spring. green . So signs of spring even in the cold .

Holms, how many calves at this point, and how many cows & heifers yet to calve ? Notice the one there just had her calf. That white smoky is a tame little thing.

We have 8 calves so far with 12-13 left to go. That little CharX baby is pretty friendly. Has been since day one!
