I only have 7 toms. 3 of which I need for breeding..1 because he is rusty slate..which means he is cooler!!!

I have 20ish hens. I will not butcher a Tom until breeding season is over.... 3 turkey toms will not see May Day...

I could butcher a few hens (or sell them) unless that known serial killer Hoover has at them again.

Re- meet Zoe. She is the kind of female I hope my daughter turns into. Zander (male) was taken away due to excessive rape and mean behaviors. Zoe started laying again, so I thought I would give him a half day pass to visit her. I brought him back to her pen and sprinkled meal worms on ground hoping he could win her over quickly. I proceed to put him in the pen, she immediately pecks his head, and she returns to happy clucking and scratching. Zander comes close again and she reminds him whose home he entered.
