Happy New Year, fellow Minnesotans! Now that we have two blizzards under our belts, I'm ready for spring.

I know two blizzards.. it has been terrible here in the Banana belt.. I am betting we got 3-4 inches of snow... enough of this I need mushroom season.

I have no idea how much snow we got. It came down sideways both times. We have places where it's just a few inches deep to drifts several feet deep. I hope your mushrooms get to grow soon. That means spring is here, right?

It does... but it also means ice fishing is over.....

Got a halter on the heifer tonight. She has put on a lot of weight in her 2 1/2 weeks of being here. She’s gonna be a tank

Ralphie, I am not much enthused with ice fishing any longer. I need to be on the move but don't wish to run around the lake drilling a lot of holes.
Winter Crappies are excellent table fare though.

Yeah I’m gonna show her as a breeding heifer.

She’s more of a commercial heifer but she’s pretty nice..

Morning all...

Holm could we see what those cattle look like on the grill???

I am still trying to decide if I want to hatch eggs or make deviled eggs out of them....

It is hard to hatch eggs knowing the chicks could out live me... I might just have to specialize in fishing instead this year.
