Well, I did something I haven’t done in 10 years.... I went ice fishing. I caught a fish, too little to keep but I witnessed some wonderful good natured ribbing. Who would’ve known you can slide into 3rd base checking a tip up.

Had a good day fishing today. I got a few northerns and another bass.

We met Mnchickmom and her family on the ice,,,,and holm showed up too....

Here is one of my northerns.. not the biggest but not bad...

Here is one of the sunnies Mnchickmom's son caught. He got three of them all about the same size...This is the larger of the three..

He told me in private this was the largest fish he had ever caught...He was quite proud of it....

I don’t remember that northern being quite that big when I saw him on the ice but I wasn’t wearing my glasses so who knows.

They sometimes look smaller lying on the ice.. you really need to have someone hold them to get a true sense of their size... I just did not have the energy to lift it again... it really tired me out fighting it , and they having to hold it like that.

Ralphie under my feeder I have a rubber bowl. It catches the flung out feed for the most part and feed then gets put back into the feeder when I notice it starting to fill up or sooner. It works slick. I’ll try to remember to get a photo.

Would like that metal peddle feeder. Grandpa’s or whatever the maker calls it. Maybe a birthday present to me. Kinda wanted an incubator though too... dilemmas

I got a halfish bag of Nutrena pellets from my chicken hatching friends. Her birds won’t eat the pellets. I personally think it’s the Nutrena...
