Surviving Minnesota!

I might have to remind some of you,.....

Bride: I,_____, take thee,_____, to be my wedded Husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love, cherish, and to obey, till death us do part, according to God’s holy ordinance; and thereto I give thee my troth.

The WW is not a great wife she seems to ignore this vow a lot....

Did she REALLY vow to obey????
Being super smart, I would think she would have gone straight from “cherish” to “death do us part”....

Yes, she did...

We have been married since the Middle Ages. All women back then did...

They knew their place.... unfortunately she seems to have forgotten it...

I think you might benefit from Ralphie’s marital counseling service.....

Jerry, successfully carried 9 eggs in his pockets to the house..

I had 9 eggs in a egg bucket ,,,,,,,(fancy thing made out of an old ice cream bucket and wood chips, for 10 bucks I can send you pictures and tell you how to make one too, this is a limited time offer),,,, I was walking back to the house, picking my steps carefully. there is one place about 6 ft wide I have to step on ice. I managed to go out with no problems.....on the way back in my first step was fine...my second not so fine.

I managed to keep upright and not hit the ground, but the bucket with 6 turkey eggs and 3 chicken eggs went flying.....Chips all stayed inside the bucket....The eggs did not..

Moral of the tale is, always carry your eggs in your pockets for safe transportation to the house.

Or wear your cramp-on ice-walking thingies when you know you need them! Glad you’re okay.

:hit about the eggs. :hit

I did not think I would need them....I made a error, so now I feel like the masses that make errors in judgement...This is such a different feeling to actually have made an error....

We just bucketed away half of a snow drift taller than I am from across our driveway. I cannot believe we never lost power. Seriously a first. Usually something like this puts us off grid for a week. I need nourishments. Then back to tractor. DH is still sick or he’d do it all, but at least it’s not cold.
