Good thing they found her... poor thing. Mine spent the storm in their shed, but I could see something like this happening. They’re none of them as tall as me, and we have a few drifts that are taller. They only came out to decimate the hay feeder. Problem is they’re getting low and now all their hay is where not even the tractor can reach it. I guess I’ll wade out there and try to uncover a bale for them.

We’re socked in. Yesterday and today we’ve been working on getting out. We’re a third of the way, I’d say, but there’s nowhere to put the snow and the tractor can’t push it and you get no traction despite the chains and the 4wd to even bucket it (if you could find a place to dump it). It’s lucky we really don’t NEED to get out, but you’d like to think you *could.*
