Last day of school! Only one more year of high school for me! Tonight hopefully I can get the coop floor for the Cochin cleaned and lay some fresh straw down. I still have to register for 4H projects, I am a bit of a procrastinator this year.

Looks like fun. Do you not usually wear helmets (riding hats)?

No I never wear a helmet. I am also aware that you can even die from head injuries that can happen. It is just something my family has never done and something I don't plan on doing.

I had ordered some Columbian Wyandotte chicks from a breeder and they should hopefully be here today!

Supposed to be 86 today. Yesterday was 85, last week was in the 40's & 50's, so yeah, bit sudden for my delicate northern self. I was up before 5am working in the garden. Probably won't be outside this afternoon. Tomorrow is going to be at least 15 degrees cooler though. Looking forward to that.
