Sounds like there may be another seed shortage this year, so if there's something you just gotta have, you might want to order online.

Last spring my local feedstore/greenhouse had hardly any started herbs for sale because they weren't able to buy seeds for starting their plants.

I am happy to say mine are all germinating in the window as I type. Except the rosemary, but it's only been a week, and rosemary can take a while.

Fortunately I do not buy much seed but I do like to browse . Menard's and Wall Mart have the seed racks out .

Brrr cold and sunny . Cold enough to make lake ice for Ralphie . Snow coming tonight off and on until Monday night . Total of 7 inches predicted .

Morning all!!

I am happy to report the Weatherdorks got it almost right this time. (I think of Memphis every time I write Weatherdorks, she coined it)

They said we would get 6” of snow possibly up to 9. We received almost 2 inches. This was a right on prediction, using their performance standards.

I am going to plow snow after church today. There is finally enough to make starting the Bobcat worth it. I didn’t plow after the last two 6-9” storms.

For some reason I can drive through it with no problems. I would have thought over two feet of snow would have been hard to drive through.

Also I have realized my tape measure is off. However, using the weatherdorks tape measure I found I found I caught a 30” crappie the other day.

Nice to see the sun out, but that wind is wicked. Two inches of Hollywood looking snow out there, and I didn't even bother shoveling the steps. Just brushed them off with my foot.

You must have gotten more than us, a friend of mine from near Duelm said he had 3 inches too.

Ours hasn’t blown any, no wind here. I have it plowed now so I can spend tomorrow on Platte lake.

Some snow around 3 pm . More coming tonight . I set 14 brown eggs today . Red pullets covered by splash blue laced red Wyandotte cockerel . Hoping for good layers that look kinda BLR .
