Surviving Minnesota!

Cheer up my snow covered friends . You will soon have signs of spring .

OK, so doing research. How far back in this thread is a good place to get a feel for 4 seasons in MN for a desert rat who's not afraid of cold but has really only experienced subzero to the -teens a few times? Considering a relocation to much colder climes and ~ an hour or less from Buffalo, MN (family there making a lot of sensible noises about getting out of the droughtlands while we can).

Having spent most of my life on the other end of the heat spectrum, I know that no matter how much we prep for winter, we'll get it wrong the first time if we decide to do this. Pretty sure Tevas are not appropriate winter wear in MN :p

Point me to a good spot, grab some popcorn, and feel free to point and laugh as I wade through this thread and scribble notes furiously. :)

I've hung around this thread for a few years and I have determined MN only has two seasons. Cold and colder. That's all you really need to know.
Your welcome.

I mean, AZ only has "surface of the sun" and "March", so I get that, but it's probably a bit more nuanced.
